Castro in Houston

              Former American Idol contestant Jason Castro will be performing at Second Baptist Church(West Campus) of Houston on Thursday, February 24.   

Many people remember Castro, a native of Dallas, TX, from his premier on the seventh season of American Idol, where he made it to the top four before being eliminated from the competition.   He was a junior Construction Science major at Texas A&M University in College Station when he auditioned for American Idol.  Since his American Idol days, Castro has released a full album and is currently on a nationwide tour. 

             Castro’s music has been called a blend of pop and folk-style genres with very uplifting melodies and undertones.  He released his self-titled debut album in the 2008.  The first and most popular single off of the record is the song Let’s Just Fall In Love Again. 

             The Concert will be held at Secon Baptist Church(West Campus) of Houston at 19449 Katy Freeway on Thursday, February 24 at 8:00p.m.. Tickets for the show will be $10 at the door.
