1 What led you to Blinn College?

 

“I came September first for the Dean of Student Services position in Bryan, and Dr. Harris told me he was looking for someone to develop the whole student body and I said that’s an environment I want to be in.”

 

2 Where did you graduate and what degree do you have?

"Ed. D. Administration and Supervision-Higher Education, University of Houston 1996

M.S. Interdisciplinary Studies-Counseling and Guidance, Southwest Texas State University 1987

B.S. Recreation Administration, Southwest Texas State University 1982."

 

3 What is your most memorable moment?

“The birth of my children, all three are memorable. One came two months early; one came on time but in a panic because I couldn’t find my car keys and I had to drive myself to the hospital, and for one I was life flighted to Austin.”

 

4 What did you do in high school?

“I was a swimmer and assistant editor for the yearbook.”

 

5 Most cherished possession?

“My rosary, from when I was confirmed and a piece of Waterford from my grandmother.”

 

6 Favorite color and why?

“Green, because of outdoors, I would rather be outdoors anytime.”

 

7. Favorite place to go and why?

“My parents live on Lake LBJ and I love to go to the mountains to go snow skiing.”

 

8 If you could be one animal, what would it be and why?

“I think I would be a little Yorkie dog because I know I spoil the heck out of mine.”

 

10 Where is the most exciting place you have ever been?

“My trip to Italy in 2008, I got to see the Pope. The whole trip was amazing. I had never been overseas; just to go and see a country as old as Italy and cities as old as Rome was amazing.”

 

9 Where do you plan to be in five years?
“I kind of operate on a one day at a time, and do what I’m supposed to do; God will take me where I should be.”
